THE WORLD IS CHANGING.

WE MUST CHANGE TOO.

Snow-covered mountain peak shrouded in clouds and mist.

THE FUTURE IS HERE

The entertainment business is evolving faster than most of its lawyers. AI and emerging technology are creating new categories of content, new ownership questions, and new deal structures that didn't exist two years ago — and the pace is accelerating. Evos Law was founded to operate at that intersection: entertainment attorneys who build with AI, advise on AI, and structure the deals that are defining how content gets created, owned, and monetized in the age of generative tools.

The deals that will define the next era of entertainment and technology don't have templates yet. That's exactly why Evos Law exists.

CONTACT BRENT@EVOSLAW.COM

BRENT OWENS is a founding partner of Evos Law LLP, an attorney with 15 years in the entertainment industry, including nearly a decade at Lionsgate and Pilgrim Media Group, where he rose to Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs. Before Lionsgate, he started his career at WME (William Morris Endeavor) and has negotiated hundreds of producer, talent, production, distribution, and IP deals across television, documentary, music, podcasts, and digital media.

Having spent years as in-house counsel, Brent also serves as fractional general counsel for media companies and technology ventures — including those integrating AI into content creation, licensing, and distribution — that want a GC's instincts without the overhead of a full-time legal department.

His clients include producers, on-camera talent, production companies, content owners, rights holders, brands, content creators, and technology companies. His practice covers the full lifecycle of entertainment deals, including producer agreements, talent agreements, development and option agreements, format licensing, rights clearances, music licensing, distribution, branded content, and IP protection. He also advises on AI-generated content, synthetic media rights, voice and likeness protections, training data licensing, and the emerging transactions around generative tools.
